6 weeks from today and let's talk about the real traveling life. I just got a letter from the Illinois licensing board saying they didn't receive a form that I know for a fact was sent out. The number provided had me on hold for 35 minutes, then I hung up and it's been busy ever since...it's been 2 days. I have 6 weeks not only until the end of this assignment, but also until I leave my house and the country for a while, so I have to do things like reconnect phone service for the alarm system, but of course the cable company cut the wire so I haven't really had phone service for over a week because the line was snipped. As I was putting the new insurance card into the new car, which should have been done 2 weeks ago when I got the new insurance card, but I never got around to it, I noticed that they have insured a 2001 Toyota 4runner L1...which I don't own, so I had to email the insurance company because I can't call them because I get home too late to call any companies. Stella and Luna's seat belts haven't arrived yet and I have contacted the company several times with finally a response explaining they didn't have the colors I picked out...are you kidding me. We're talking about my girls' lives and they won't send out the seat belts or email me back because they are out of red. Will they get here before I leave...not sure. There will be a hundred thousand things that I won't even think about taking care of until long after I'm gone. This week has just been a little stressful, but the good news is Dad and Mary are coming next weekend and maybe Jessie too!!!!
