first day

So today was the first day of my new job in Cincinnati, OH. It's good to be home for the most part, but I still miss Greenville. The first day went pretty smoothly. I'm in an acute care setting and I like being back in a hospital. The documentation is computerized, which is nice. No more waiting for charts or fighting with people for them. Everything is online and easily accessible.
The people were okay. I know it was my first day, and no one knows yet how wonderful I am ( ;) ) but everywhere I've been so far has had people very welcoming and friendly. Not that the people here aren't friendly I'm sure, just not as welcoming as the previous assignments. Hopefully that will change the more I'm around people. I think lunch is the strangest. I've always been in places where lunch is fun and a time to socialize and relax and laugh. That didn't happen today, but like I said, I'm sure it will get better. I'm kinda tired though, so more soon!
