Day Three

Okay, so day 3. The days have gotten a little shorter, which is a blessing. Today I actually got home early enough to take the girls for a walk and let me just tell you...they LOVED it. There is such a huge difference between the previous place of employment and the new one. I really like the girls I work with. They are nice and fun and energetic. The documentation is different and sporadic. It's very strange to see patients for hours at a time alternating 15 minutes with PT, 20 minutes with OT, few minutes with speech. I feel bad taking someone away from a PT, but that's how they do it. Dori would have smacked me if while a patient was resting I pulled up a table and started playing memory games. I'm starting to get a grasp on things and it's making me feel not so overwhelmed. I somehow managed to get lost today on my way home...yeah, not sure how. At least I know another way to get there now though. I'm still up tonight and it's 8:36 so I'm going to get stuff ready for tomorrow. Looking forward to the weekend! I miss my RCP girls SO much! We had a patient today that transferred from GHS and I got to read the notes from "my" PTs and OTs and it brought a tear to my eye. Love you guys!
