Wow, where has the time gone. I have 6 more weeks in Chicago and we have been incredibly busy. I found out today that I got my Ohio licensure, so that will definitely be the next stop. We have tickets to the White Sox, Cubs, and Bears games which we are very excited about. There is always so much to do here, we spend most of our time exhausted wishing we could catch up on sleep. Work is okay. It's getting a little stressful, people not understanding the demands of doing even fairly good therapy with 13 people a day and trying to keep up with weekly notes, evals, D/Cs and whatever else they have us doing, all in 8 hours. We've been working overtime and aren't able to bill for it because apparently it's our fault we're having to stay late. They just hired a new COTA though, so hopefully that will help with the caseload. I'm very excited to move home to Cincinnati. I get to be home for Thanksgiving, my Dad's 50th birthday, Christmas, New Years, all the things I've had to miss for the past few years. I love being able to take several weeks off a year and not have to worry about PTO or if someone else has the same time off. This is seriously the greatest job ever and I don't want to leave it! I highly recommend traveling for any therapist who has been practicing for a little while and feels comfortable moving every few months. I miss my Greenvillians, but I'll be happy to be home with my old school friends and my family soon!
